Coronavirus cases surpass one million with over 50,000 deaths, 212, 991 recoveries

A total of 1,015,728 coronavirus cases and 53, 202 deaths have been recorded worldwide, the United States registering the highest number of infections with 245, 088. Recoveries stand at 212, 991 worldwide.

The death toll in Italy and Spain has alarmingly increased to13, 915 and 10,348 respectively and the numbers of Coronavirus cases in the two countries are soaring, according to the latest updates by Worldometer.

Italy recorded 115,242 coronavirus cases closely followed by Spain with 112,065; and 6,075 people have died due to the pandemic in the United States where recoveries stand at 10,403.

Spain yesterday recorded the biggest number of deaths (above 1,000) ever since the Coronavirus outbreak started.
