By Eric Nzabirinda

The Ministry of Health has today announced four (4) new cases of Coronavirus after testing 1,040 patients, bringing the total 284. Rwanda has so far tested 42,425 patients.

Recoveries in the country stand at 140 while it has not registered any death.

At the beginning of this month Rwanda relaxed the lockdown by expanding the economic activities allowed to be done. However, a great deal of the measures against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic remains in force.

For instance, wearing a mask is mandatory and curfew is still observed.

Schools will be opened in September but the fate of many social activities including places of prayer, bars and nightclubs is still unknown.
