Nshuti Crowned Miss Rwanda 2022

Nshuti Divine Muheto, 19, was in the wee hours of March 20, 2022, crowned Miss Rwanda 2022 during a colorful grand finale at the Intare Conference Arena in the periphery of the capital, Kigali.
Miss Nshuti takes over the highly-competitive crown from Miss Grace Ingabire (2021) .
Nshuti Divine Muheto,, a graduate of High school hails from Rubavu District, Western Province,
Promoting a savings culture among the youth is her Project and hates anyone losing trust in her, and likes Swimming and watching movies.
Keza Maolithia ,19, the First Runners up, is a High school graduate hails from Western Province brought into the race “Empowering youth through entrepreneurship” project and loves poetry.
While Kayumba Darina, 20 who finished in the third position is a High school leaver, representing the City of Kigali in Miss Rwanda 2022 and her hobby is singing.
Nshuti Divine Muheto walked away with a Brand New Car – 2022 Hyundai, courtesy of Hyundai Rwanda, one of the sponsors for the popular competition in the country.
The six-member jury included: Malik Shaffy, James Munyaneza, Irizabimbuto Fidèle, Niwemwiza Anne Marie, Jolly Mutesi and Matthew Mensah.
Miss Rwanda Pageant started back in 1993 with Miss Uwera Dalila then the following were crowned Miss Rwanda: Bahati Grace (2009), Mutesi Aurore (2012), Akiwacu Colombe (2014), Kundwa Doriane (2015), Mutesi Jolly (2016), Iradukunda Elsa (2018), Iradukunda Liliane (2019), Nishimwe Naome (2020) and Ingabire Grace (2021) who decorated Nshuti, Miss Rwanda 2022.
The top five finalists on Saturday night included: Ruzindana Kellia (No 47), Mutabazi Isingizwe Sabine (No 38), Nshuti Divine Muheto (No 44), Keza Maolithia (No 27) and Kayumba Darina (No 25).
Judge Jolly Mutesi was one of the most experienced on the jury. She was crowned Miss Rwanda in 2016. She is the brain behind Inter-Generation dialogues. Also, Mutesi was the first contestant to represent Rwanda in Miss World. She’s Vice President of Miss East Africa beauty pageant. Voted as Best Female Celebrity influencer for 2019.
The moving and sensational grand finale that doubled as a fashion and elegance show was graced Rwandan singer Bruce Melodie and the Nyundo Music band plus DJs Toxxyk and Ira.
