Grenade attack injures 4 in Rwanda’s border town of Rusizi

Four people have been injured by a grenade attack in Kamembe town in the district border of Rusizi district, Rwanda National Police has confirmed.
The incident, according to Police spokesperson Commissioner of Police-CP JB Kabera happened at around 7 pm in the evening on October 19, 2019.
Rusizi district borders Bukavu town on the other side of Democratic Republic of Congo-DRC.
On 19 th October, In the hours of 7 30 pm, evening time, unknown person carried out Grenade attack in Kamembe town in Rusizi district injuring 4 people lightly,” Police publicist said in a press statement.

The injured have been rushed to the hospital as Police says security organs have instituted an investigation into the incident to ascertain who was behind the attack and their motive.
