Amavubi beats wallas to Qualify for CHAN2020 finals

Rwanda has qualified for the the African Nations Championships (CHAN 2020) due in Cameroon after defeating  Ethiopia’s Wallas  with 1-1 draw in the second leg of their qualifier  on Saturday at Regional Stadium in Kigali.

The Amavubi which only needed a draw to qualifier after beating  Wallas  in the first leg  with 1- 0 to qualify for the fourth time – and third in a row  in this  tournament.

Ernest  Sugira’s  miracle goal In the 83rd minute saved  Amavubi from a draw that would push the game to Penalty shoot outs after  Wallas’ Lemene Tafesse  made clean goal  in the 72nd minute.
