New ministers, army top brass take oath of office

President Paul Kagame on Thursday, 14 th November 2019 received oath of office from the newly appointed Ministers and Military top brass at the Parliamentary building.
Among those who took the oath are five Ministers and the top brass Army Commanders.
Among the Ministers are Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamariya who holds the portfolio of Environment, Gen. Patrick Nyamvumba the Minister of Security, Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju the new Minister for Sports,
Bamporiki Edourd the new State Minister of Youth and Culture, and Ignatienne Nyirarukundo the State Minister of Local Government responsible for citizens’ social welfare.
Others include Gen. Jean Bosco Kazura, who is the new chief of Rwanda Defense Forces (RDF), Fred Ibingira the commander of the Reserve force, Major General Innocent Kabandana the Deputy Commander of Reserve Force, and Lt. Gen. Jacques Musemakweli the Inspector General of Rwanda Defense Forces.
During the ceremony, the Head of State warned who ever harbors ill intentions of interfering with the state security will incur an immense loss.
