“Every one of us needs to understand that our responsibilities should be brought together through collaboration as collective duties for all of us both as Rwandans and as leaders as we continue to strive for our development,” said President Kagame while remarking at the end of the 17th National Dialogue Council locally known as Umushyikirano.

He added: “Let’s go back with an understanding that Rwandans expect a lot from us. We know that we are on the right path but we need to keep the momentum and stay the course”.

Kagame has again predicted that year 2020 will be better than 2019. His last year’s prediction that 2019 was to be a prosperous year came true.  Year 2019 has gone in history as one when Rwanda made breakthroughs in all aspects of the economy.

“Last year, I had predicted that 2019 would be better than 2018; we can see now that it was true. Now I can predict that 2020 will also be better than 2019. But this will depend on how much efforts we invest in; not just on our wishes.”

Extending his festive greetings President Kagame said: “I wish you all and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2020”.
